Our Costs
Our approach to pricing is to be honest, fair and transparent at all times. We believe that there should be no hidden extras or unpleasant surprises.
- A project fee will be agreed up front with you.
- All research costs including travel, archive fees and copy certificates are normally included within the project fee. The exceptions being; where overseas or long distance UK travel is required, when overnight accommodation is needed or if you specifically request additional certificates and documents beyond those needed to establish a family tree.
- If these occur or are likely to occur, they will be agreed in advance with you.br />Your project fee includes all research, writing, editing, proof preparation, proof reading, image enhancement, type setting and publication costs.
- A deposit is made up front and then no further monies are payable until the project is completed and you have received your books and are delighted with them.
- You may request an interim invoice at any stage during the process.
- You may arrange to make interim payments if you prefer.
Life Histories
The project fee includes two beautifully bound editions of your life history including up to 50,000 words and 30 images. Additional words, books and pictures can be arranged.
A typical project fee is £1,500 together with meeting fees from £125 per half day and £200 per full day. You may have as many or as few meetings as you need.
Full Day meetings usually start at 10.00am and finish around 4.00pm. Half day meetings can be arranged for either mornings or afternoons and usually last for three hours.
Celebration Books
The project fee will vary according to the size and scope of your book and will be agreed up front with you.
A typical celebration book for a Golden Wedding Anniversary, covering each year of the couple’s married life and including around 150 photographs would cost £1,750.
The project fee includes a beautifully bound edition of your Celebration Book. Additional copies can be obtained for all of the family.
Photo Books
A typical photo book with up to 150 pictures and supporting text would cost £950.
The project fee includes a beautifully bound edition of your Photo Book. Additional copies can be obtained for all of the family.
Family History
Project Fees for a family history will vary according to the amount of research required to complete the book. Fees for a fully researched family history start from £4000 together with meeting fees from £125 per half day and £200 per full day.

Corporate Histories
Project Fees will vary according to the scope of the project and the type of publication required.
