Life Histories

Every life is unique and each of us has a plethora of personal stories and experiences to tell of that often mean so much to us.  Maybe you’ve already started writing your life story and need some help in channelling your stories and creating your personal biography.  Perhaps the thought of where to begin has seemed too daunting.  This is where Family and Personal Histories can help you.

Each project is individual and our approach is tailored to your needs and preferences.

A typical approach would include a series of half day interviews with you which will form the basis of the draft copy of the book.  During these interviews we will select and scan any photographs you wish to be included together with any personal memorabilia such as school reports or army papers. Often customers ask me to research further around certain stories within their book and you may wish me to interview other family members to include their recollection of events.  A draft of the book is provided for you to review and request any changes.  The final bound book will be produced in the format of your choice with leather bound, hardback and paperback options all available.
